Given the climbing Sovereign debt amidst the difficult policy landscape that the coronavirus pandemic has provided, sovereign debtors are called to cooperate with creditors and the international community to control escalating debt risk. This culminates in the suggestion of a “Beijing Club” that would enable this effort to take place urgently and create a common framework to reformulate the debt architecture going forward.
