A new multilateralism was called for by the panel. One that promotes resilience, sustainability, and efficiency. The fragmentation of international institutions was attributed to a major shift in the underlying economic framework of our world. However the shift highlights the need for these very institutions to be stronger. Their ability to oversee and promote innovation in the digital and crypto currency spaces was pointed out as a major contribution that the world is in need of in the near future.
