The Committee invites all members to share their perspective on IFI priorities for the incoming U.S. Administration via the BWC Blog. Submissions will be accepted and published on a rolling basis.
The Bretton Woods Committee Blog aims to help global leaders envision how to evolve and strengthen the current rules-based economic system and encourage policymakers to recommit to the “spirit of Bretton Woods” and the value of international economic cooperation. Calls for submissions vary dependent upon global events, but submissions are encouraged on any relevant topic on an ongoing basis.
Topic: IFI Priorities for the Incoming U.S. Administration
President-elect Biden will take office on January 20, 2021. How can the new Administration deepen U.S. commitment to multilateralism and to the international financial institutions? How can the U.S. support the IFIs in their efforts to combat the coronavirus crisis, address looming sovereign debt crises, or rebuild a greener, more equitable global economy?
Submission Guidelines: Please send submissions to secretariat@brettonwoods.org.
- Do not exceed 750 words per essay
- Submit in a Microsoft Word document (or document type convertible to MS word), Times New Roman font, 12-point, single-spaced
- Citations should be hyperlinked
- Include a blog title
- Provide your full name and affiliation, a one-sentence professional bio, and a headshot or photo
