The Covid-19 crisis represents the most substantial shock to the global financial system since it was reformed in the wake of the Global Financial Crisis. More than one year into the pandemic, the system appears resilient, though challenges remain. World Bank Chief Economist Carmen Reinhart will join BWC Chair Bill Dudley to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the international financial architecture and consider reforms to increase resilience and inclusivity.
