Since 1983, the Annual Meeting has brought together Committee members and friends to discuss ways to increase multilateral cooperation, deepen the impact of economic development, and improve the effectiveness of the international financial institutions.
Each Spring, members and other corporate, government, and multilateral leaders gather with top speakers in Washington, DC to discuss a shared response to a range of global challenges. They examine pressing issues related to the health of international trade, sustainable development, and international economic cooperation and seek to identify collaborative ways forward.
Through the Annual Meeting, the Committee seeks to:
- Educate members and friends about key developments at the international financial institutions and
- Offer a forum in which to debate and discuss the most effective ways to promote global financial stability and prosperity, combat poverty, and increase economic opportunities worldwide.
