We Want To Hear From You: BWC Blog – COVID19

The Committee invites all members to submit their thought leadership on COVID-19 via the BWC Blog.

The Bretton Woods Committee Blog aims to help global leaders envision how to evolve and strengthen the current rules-based economic system and encourage policymakers to recommit to the “spirit of Bretton Woods” and the value of international economic cooperation. Calls for submissions vary dependent upon timely global events but submissions are encouraged on any relevant topic on an ongoing basis.

2020 Annual Meeting Postponed

Our first priority is the health and safety of our membership and community. As the coronavirus has spread over the past few weeks, regrettably, we have postponed our Annual Meeting until a later date TBD.

On January 24, 2020, the Bretton Woods Committee hosted a virtual conference, Regional Spotlight: Is Turkey Poised for Recovery or Freefall?  which explored the risks and opportunities facing the Turkish economy in 2020 as it rebounds from protracted currency and debt crises in 2018. Remembering Paul A. Volcker

Former Federal Reserve Chairman and former Bretton Woods Committee Chair Paul A. Volcker passed away Sunday in New York. He was 92.
