BWC would like to welcome new member Keith B. Carter. Keith advises companies and governments on strategic use of data, fintech policy, talent development, and data-driven communications.

His passion is teaching design thinking, data-driven decision-making, robotic process automation, algorithmic trading, and, especially, actionable intelligence, which he characterizes as the right information, in the right person's hands, at the right time to improve outcomes.

Keith is the author of Actionable Intelligence: A Guide to Delivering Business Results with Big Data, Fast.

He was an Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Computing, Department of Information Systems and Analytics. He was Founding Director of the NUS Ripple FinTech Lab, an experiential education lab, and Founding Co-Director of the Crystal Centre, a deep-tech fintech thinktank of cryptocurrency, security, technology, and algorithms. He taught business leaders in Advanced Computing for Executives and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and he was a member of the Singapore CyberSecurity Consortium. He was also a member of the NUS AI Lab.

Prior to becoming a professor at National University of Singapore, he worked for the Estee Lauder Companies, Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence tasked to lead strategic changes to the supply chain to improve the overall performance of the company. He also previously worked as a consultant for Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture), where his clients included Goldman Sachs, St. Paul Reinsurance, and Smith Barney.

Keith received his MBA from Cornell University and his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is certified in procurement by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
