A trailblazer in finance and public service, his leadership as the founding Chairman of the Financial Stability Institute of the Bank for International Settlements and tenure as U.S. Comptroller of the Currency defined his commitment to public welfare. John leaves behind an enduring legacy of excellence and unwavering dedication to global financial stability and sound regulatory policy.
