Corey Retell joined the team in October 2022 as a membership associate.
Before working for the BWC secretariat, he most fondly remembers his time as a Peace Corps volunteer, living and teaching English to high school students in Ukraine for two years.
He has working proficiency in Ukrainian as well as russian and Swedish languages.
He has been a member of the US Army reserve forces since July 2023 enlisting and drilling as a 38B civil affairs soldier.
He comes from Buffalo, New York and now lives in Washington DC with his boyfriend.
He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied philosophy, politics, and economics.
